NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Tweed New Haven Airport received a license from the Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA). However, airport officials still contend it doesn’t need one because it has a federal license.

The CAA disagrees, saying all Connecticut airports must comply with state licensing laws.

It had threatened to take action against Tweed if it did not apply for a license by Nov. 3.
