NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Residents at New Haven’s Mary Wade Home got an early Valentine’s Day gift on Thursday.
The United Way decided to add some early love by delivering more than 150 letters to every resident of the nursing home. Volunteers said they’ve been working hard to write the letters to boost senior citizens’ moods.
It was the third year for the event.
