VIDEO: Demolition of church in Waterbury

New Haven

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A 45-year-old church in Waterbury was demolished after the building was deemed structurally unstable.

On Monday, July 22nd crews tore down the Nativity of the Holy Virgin Mary Orthodox Church on North Main Street in Waterbury.

The parish will not be rebuilding the church.
