Volunteer Fireman’s Carnival in Orange

New Haven

The Annual Orange Volunteer Firemen’s Carnival is here!

This is a weekend is full of entertainment, rides, games and good food all to benefit the All-Volunteer Fire Association.  According to Chief Dumas the carnival has been a long time tradition for many families in the community and their largest most important fundraiser.

The Chief says this carnival has been going on since 1925.  An interesting fact is that there were only two years where it didn’t run and that was during world war 2 and once when there as a terrible flu outbreak and the health department didn’t allow for the carnival to be put on.

Carnival starts tonight and goes on until August 5th.
