WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) – A 10-year-old boy was seriously injured after he was hit by a car while riding his bike on Friday night in Waterbury, according to police.
Police said the child had been riding his bike on Ridgewood Street and was struck around 7 p.m.
The 10-year-old was airlifted to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The child is considered to be in serious but stable condition.
The Waterbury Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the collision.
