WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Officials took the time to pause Wednesday to remember the police officers and firefighters who have given their lives to protect their community.
The names were read out loud as a bell rang for the first responders. The police prayer was also said.
Wreaths were laid at the memorial for fallen firefighters and police officers at city hall.
