Waterbury hosts benefit to help 911 operator with cancer

New Haven

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Community members gathered together recently to support a 911 operator recently diagnosed with cancer.

Joe DiMasso has been out of work due to his illness and is struggling to pay for the medical care he needs to fight disease.

The Ziti Dinner fundraiser took place at the Waterbury Police Activity League.
