Waterbury Police Respond to Motorcycle vs. Car Accident

New Haven

Waterbury Police responded to an accident involving a car and motorcycle Wednesday night. 

Officials say 49-year-old Angel Roman was driving a scooter on North Walnut Street and attempted to pass an Acura SUV. The car made a left hand turn, and the struck the scooter. 

Police say Roman was trapped underneath the vehicle. Waterbury Fire Department extricated the man out from underneath the car. 

Roman was brought to St. Mary’s Hospital, where police say he has non-life threatening injuries at this time.
