West Haven mourns the loss of High School Principal

New Haven

The West Haven community is mourning the loss of a beloved school administrator.

Pamela Gardner, Principal of West Haven High School died Thursday following a battle with cancer. Officials at West Haven High School confirmed Gardner’s passing midday Thursday.

Friends and former students of Gardner posted their feelings on social media Thursday.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 until 7:00pm at the West Haven Funeral Home. Gardner’s funeral will be held on Monday morning at Church of the Saint Louis. 

Shelton Athletics announced that the football game scheduled between Shelton and West Haven on Friday had been postponed due to Gardner’s passing.
