ORANGE, Conn. (WTNH) — An orange police officer arrested a woman after she almost hit his patrol car while driving under the influence.
The officer was making a routine patrol on Dogwood Road in Orange when he had to avoid being hit by a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road.
Officers stopped the offending vehicle and had 48-year-old Carol Marsan perform roadside sobriety tests. Marsan was then taken into custody and charged with a DUI and Failure to Drive in the Proper Lane.
Marsan was released after posting a $50 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
