Woodbridge seniors knit 100 hats for newborns

Made with love for some of the tiniest patients at New Haven-area hospitals.

Check out this good-looking group from Coachman Square in Woodbridge.

Residents, staff and volunteers there are knitting 100 little red hats. The hand-made hats will warm the heads of babies born with congenital heart defects.

Newborns will be wearing the hats in February, which is American Heart Month.
