Zuppardi’s Apizza planning to reopen Friday following notice of employee testing positive for COVID-19

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Zuppardi’s Apizza in West Haven is closed Thursday due to COVID-19 complications.

The restaurant posted on Facebook that an employee who did not have contact with customers tested positive for coronavirus. Zuppardi’s found out about it Wednesday.

The restaurant says it shut down Wednesday and Thursday for deep cleaning as a precaution. It plans to reopen Friday.
