1 charged, 2 sought after shots fired incident in Groton

Officials with Groton Town Police have arrested one person and are looking for two others after a shots fired incident last week.

According to police, on Thursday just before 1:00 a.m., units responded to Midway Oval near Miami Court for a report of shots being fired.

At the scene, officers found evidence of a weapon being fired in the area.

Following an investigation, police obtained arrest warrants for three people.

On Wednesday afternoon, 18-year-old Sapphire Kelly turned herself in. She faces multiple charges, including Conspiracy of the Sale of Marijuana, Operating a Drug Factory and other related charges.

At this time, police are looking for Matthew Beck and Kalyn Bomster. Both are facing similar charges, including Conspiracy of the Sale of Marijuana and   Operating a Drug Factory.

Both should be considered armed and dangerous.
