At least four dogs killed in Voluntown kennel fire

Tragedy at a dog kennel in Voluntown.

At least four dogs were killed in an early morning fire at the Tri-Color Kennel on Hodge Pond Road. This is according to the Norwich Bulletin. 

The Deputy Fire Chief says the 20 by 20 foot structure was engulfed in flames by the time firefighters were able to get there.

The roof then collapsing a short time later. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
