WATERFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Several vehicles were broken into Sunday night into Monday morning in Waterford, but there may be positive news if one was yours.

Waterford police said that the department has “quite a bit of property that was discarded,” according to a post Monday on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

The post urges anyone who had items stolen to contact police to see if officers have their belongings.
