Coast Guard delivers harassment probe documents to Congress

The Coast Guard is turning over more than 1,000 pages to Congress as lawmakers investigate how New London’s Coast Guard Academy handles harassment and bullying complaints.

House committees were prepared to issue a subpoena for the documents if they weren’t sent by Tuesday.

Members of Congress asked for the documents last summer after an assessment showed disparities for minority students at the academy and the removal of a department head for bullying.
