Danielson woman arrested for purse snatching

PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) – A Danielson woman will appear in New London Superior Court this week on charges that she stole a person’s purse at a hotel on the shoreline.

46-year-old Tammy Grant is facing a third degree murder charge in the case. Police say Grant met the victim of at the Foxwoods Resort.

The two then went to a room at the Two Trees Hotel in Ledyard where the suspect is accused of the distracting the victim and then taking the purse and all of its contents. Grant is scheduled to appear in court on September 26th.
