Firefighters from the Old Lyme, East Lyme, Waterford and Old Saybrook Fire Departments all responded to a multi-alarm structure fire at in Niantic early Sunday morning.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m., fire crews responded to the blaze at 87 West Main Street.
The fire broke out at Guy’s Oil and took more than an hour to knock down.
In addition to the multiple fire departments battling the blaze, HazMat and Foam Units from the Norwich and Old Mystic Fire Departments were operating on the scene.
The fire was extinguished, but its cause is not yet known.
