Lifestar responds to car crashing into tree in Voluntown Tuesday

VOLUNTOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — A Rhode Island man is recovering after his vehicle struck a tree on Ekonk Hill Road in Voluntown late Tuesday evening, according to Connecticut State Police.

Police said the man lost control of the vehicle and drove off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree, and rolled over.

Lifestar said they responded and transported the victim to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.
