Man robs Norwich restaurant at gunpoint

Police in Norwich need the public’s help in identifying a suspect who robbed a local restaurant at gunpoint Friday night.

Officials say just after 10:00, the male entered Mr. Pan’s Restaurant on Old Canterbury Turnpike in Norwich. He displayed a handgun and pointed it at the clerk, demanding all of the cash from the register.

The suspect fled the scene in a dark colored pickup truck. 

There is no word if the clerk sustained any injuries.
