WATERFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A motorcyclist was killed in a Monday crash in Waterford, according to Connecticut State Police.

The crash closed down traffic Monday afternoon on Interstate 395 southbound from Exit 2 in Waterford to Interstate 95.

Marc Pennino, 60, of Monroe, was killed. The other driver, who was in a Ford Fiesta, was not injured.

The crash happened at about 11:30 a.m. when Pennino’s motorcycle hit the Ford Fiesta’s rear, according to a crash report. The Fiesta was slowing down with the flow of traffic at the time.
