NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH)–Norwich police are investigating after a car hit a U.S. Postal Service truck and then left the scene.
The driver was traveling south towards downtown Norwich near Washington Street and Chelsea Court when it hit the mail truck around 11 a.m. Friday. The postal worker sustained an injury to his left leg.
Police said the evading car may have damage to its right, front bumper/quarter panel. Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call Norwich police at 860-886-5561, or U.S. Postal Inspector Brendan Murphy at (860) 524-6084.
