Nursing home workers extend deadline to strike

Nursing home workers are renewing their threat to strike. 

The union is extending its deadline for a picket to June 3. The union covers 20 nursing homes in the state.

Workers are fighting for more funding in the state budget to cover wage increases for the next two years.

If the strike happens, more than 2,500 caregivers would walk off the job.
