Nursing home workers renewing threat to strike

Nursing home workers are renewing their threat to strike.

According to the New Haven Register, unionized workers called off a strike planned for May 1st.

On Wednesday, they told lawmakers to either raise their wages or face a new strike of 3,100 workers. The union will meet on May 8th to decide whether they’ll walk off the job.
