(WTNH) – Connecticut State Police are enforcing the removal of snow and ice off of cars before driving.

State Police are warning drivers that they are enforcing the removal of snow and ice and that the failure to remove snow or ice before driving could cost you up to $200.

The police are also encouraging drivers to take it slow on the road and leave extra time in order to get to your destinations for the next few days due to the cold weather.
