State reps to bring awareness of modern-day slavery in End It campaign

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — State representatives will bring the End It campaign to the state capitol on Thursday.

Officials say the threat of human trafficking is very persistent and is becoming more prevalent in the state. They say each year the number of human trafficking cases in the state rises. Nationally, it has grown to be a $32 billion industry.

The group kicked off their campaign at 10 a.m.
