Conn. (WTNH) — It appears the number of registered Republicans in our state is dropping.
CT Insider stays over 5,300 Connecticut republicans unaffiliated from the GOP between Jan. 6 – the day of the Capitol insurrection – and Feb. 16. Local Republican leaders say the Connecticut GOP needs to change its tone to win back support.
By comparison, CT Insider reports less than 2,000 democrats have left their party in the same timeframe.
