The Tolland Education Foundation’s hidden rock campaign, that appeared to be nearing a successful conclusion with the 10 original rocks being found, leaving just the two additional hidden rocks out there somewhere, now has taken an interesting turn.

Another rock – a golden rock – has now been hidden and it’s worth a $300 TEF grant to a Tolland public school educator.   The rock is in honor of TEF’s founding member David Golden.

This spring, students in Tolland have been searching for the rocks that were hidden around town as a way to raise money to assist educators with ways to teach their students.

The first 12 rocks were worth $100 TEF grants.  Ten have already been given out.
