VERNON, Conn. (WTNH) — A new K-9 has joined the Vernon Police Department.
Franco and officer Brandon Zawadski recently completed 10 weeks of training in South Carolina and started working in Vernon Wednesday.
The town recently raised more than $30,000 to replace K-9 Thor, who died last year.
