Trout fishing season underway in Connecticut on Saturday


You can throw out your first line of the season Saturday!

It will be opening day for trout fishing.

The state is stocking twelve parks full of fish to get ready. Check out an interactive Connecticut trout stocking map here.

We wanted to remind anglers that anyone 16 years and older will need a state stamp to get out on the water. 

The parks open at 6:00 a.m. sharp.
