(WTNH) — Union home care workers in Connecticut will be receiving extra pay for being on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
Under the District 11-99 contract, those workers will get a 7.5 percent increase in hazard pay. It’s for all the hours worked in April, May and June.
Officials say workers can expect payments by August 12.
