2 men charged with arson, insurance fraud in Putnam

Connecticut State Police announced on Wednesday that they have arrested two men for an arson in Putnam last summer.

Robert Lemay initially told detectives he was cooking on the grill outside of a residence on Cady Road.

He said he went to chase after his dog that ran away, and when he came back, the house was on fire.

But investigators determined the fire was set with the help of a contractor, Armand Boisvert.

Both men are facing charges for arson and insurance fraud.
