Killingly High School is closed Friday due to a water issue.
Steven Rioux, the Superintendent of Schools, says there is no school for Killingly High School students only due to the chemical treatment pump failing for the two wells that the school runs on.
There is currently a water boil advisory for the school but repairs are underway at this time.
As a precaution, students and staff were kept home for just the high school. All other Killingly schools are in session as normal.
