Putnam man arrested as fugitive from justice by Plainfield police

Plainfield police arrested a Putnam man as a fugitive from justice on Wednesday.

According to officials, 35-year-old Keith Therrien was arrested on an active extraditable arrest warrant out of Dudley, Mass.

The warrant charged Therrien with assault with a dangerous weapon and defrauding a restaurant.

After being released from a correctional facility on unrelated charges, Therrien was transported back to the Plainfield Police Department where he was held on a $200,000 bond.

He was released after posting bond and will appear in court on May 20th.
