Windham reaches settlement on historic hotel


The town of Windham has reached a settlement with two developers to save a historic building on Main Street. 

Under the pact, the Nathan Hale Hotel will be revamped and worked into a new development, but the Hooker Hotel next door is in such disrepair that it will be demolished.

Both buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places. 

There has been a fight in town for months over what to do with them.
