WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) –In Windsor, police officers and community volunteers will begin prepping and cooking Thanksgiving dinners for elders on Wednesday.
The meals will be delivered to seniors and others who will be alone on Thanksgiving. Grace Episcopal Church in Windsor is allowing full use of their kitchen to prepare the meal.
On Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, officers will package the meals into containers and deliver them to those in need.
