A victory for Connecticut’s craft beer industry.
The State Senate passed a bill Thursday evening that significantly increases the amount of beer consumers can buy directly from local breweries.
The bill also allows craft breweries to manufacture wine, cider, and distilled spirits. It also gives wineries the ability to sell Connecticut craft beer.
It still needs approval in the House and a signature from Governor Lamont, before it becomes law.
