It’s magically delicious!
It’s a sweet deal for those of you who love Lucky Charms so much you’ve dreamed of having the marshmallowy cereal taste in your beer.
Smartmouth Beer is introducing its Saturday Morning Marshmallow IPA this weekend in an all-day event.
“Join us as we flashback to those Saturday Mornings when you rolled out of bed and were lazy all morning watching your favorite cartoons and playing video or board games. We’ll celebrate those mornings with the release of Saturday Morning IPA that is made with pounds of marshmallows, some of which we toasted, along with tropical fruity Calypso hops. The result is magically ridiculous,” said Smartmouth Beer in a Facebook post.

The 6.6 percent ABV beer is “brewed with in-house toasted marshmallows and bulk dehydrated-marshmallow-bits,” brewery spokesperson Chris Neikirk said in a statement to USA TODAY. “It has been hopped and dry-hopped with Galaxy and Calypso hops.”
Neikirk described the taste as “a soft pillowy body with a slight cereal taste,” along with “orange and pear aromas.”
Talk about nostalgic — even the beer can looks like a box of Lucky Charms.
The beer is available throughout Virginia at limited restaurants, bars, and specialty bottle shops.
Right now Smartmouth says it is unable to ship the limited edition beer.
