Connecticut AG encourages residents to use up Payless gift cards

If you have a gift card to Payless ShoeSource, you better use it fast!

Connecticut’s attorney general and the Department of Consumer Protection are advising people to use Payless gift cards by March 11th before the company closes all 2,300 stores.

Also, Payless isn’t accepting any returns after March 1st.

Attorney General William Tong said consumers should act quickly to get their money’s worth.

While gift cards do not expire in Connecticut, sudden store closings and bankruptcies may prevent consumers from using gift cards.
