For the first time in about seven years, it’s cheaper to buy gas in Connecticut compared to the national average.
Drivers in our state are paying about $2.74 for a gallon of regular.

The last time this happened was Aug. 9th, 2012.
The jump was thanks to higher crude oil costs, pipeline disruptions, and the aftermath of Hurricane Issac.
