Screen time can significantly impact brain development of children, new study reports

(WTNH) — A new study finds that screen time can have a significant impact on brain development in young children.

Researchers looked at kids 3-5 years old who used TVs, tablets, and smartphones for more than 1 hour a day.

They found those kids had lower levels of development in the part of the brain key to language, literacy, and cognitive skills.
