Southington PD: One injured, one dead after vehicle crashes into pole


SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — One man is dead and another is injured after crashing into a utility pole in Southington, according to police.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Aircraft Road and Queen Street.

The two people were rushed into the hospital. One man is in serious condition, the other has succumbed to their injuries.

The scene remains active.
