Alleged pimp arrested for human trafficking in Southington

Crime

SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A Bristol man was charged with human trafficking and prostitution in Southington.

Guy Fletcher, 35, was arrested last week.

Police started investigating last December when they were called to a hotel for a dispute between Fletcher and a woman.

She told officers he was acting as her pimp and arranging dates for her at motels.

Police said he was keeping money and property from her to control her.
