HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A 26-year-old man is dead after a late night shooting in Hartford Saturday.

Police say they were called to the scene just before 10:30 p.m. Officers located the male victim in front of 160-162 Magnolia Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Police have identified him as Nicholas Brown of Hartford.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this shooting.
