GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH)–A man and woman who were already incarcerated were arrested for a string of burglaries in Glastonbury over several months.
Their arrests marked the conclusion of a multi-agency and interstate investigation into a string of residential burglaries, car thefts, and firearms thefts.
Melissa Hafey and Daniel Taylor were held for presentment in Manchester court on 1/10/18 and 1/31/18 respectively. Both remain incarcerated.
The investigation revealed Hafey and Taylor systematically searched social media to target their victims.
Glastonbury police are reminding the public to be careful of the information put on social media and to avoid posting your location, where you are traveling, and when you will be away.
