MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — A Middletown woman will spend time in jail after her children went missing in December.
According to police, 4-year-old Natasha Thompson and 1-year-old Jacob Meeks went missing before being located in a New Haven hotel.
On Tuesday, 26-year-old Kristina Thompson was sentenced to 10 years in jail with the execution suspended after 30 months and three years of probation for risk of injury to a child. She also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, less than a half ounce of cannabis and other charges and received additional jail time.Related Content: Middletown children found, parents arrested
The other defendant in the case, 35-year-old Andy Meeks, is set to appear in court on Feb. 20 for similar charges.
