New Haven PD: Teens injured in double shooting on Lamberton Street

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven Police are investigating a double shooting Monday afternoon.

Police tell News 8 their officers were approached by concerned citizens reporting a person shot on Lamberton Street between Button Street and Arthur Street.

Responding officers found two teen males – 16 and 15-years-old – who had been shot. They were transported by ambulance to Yale New Haven Hospital and are listed in stable condition.

Police ask any witnesses to contact the New Haven Police Department Investigative Services Division at 203-946-6304. Callers may remain anonymous or submit tips anonymously by calling 1-866-888-TIPS(8477), or text “NHPD plus your message” to 274637 (CRIMES).
