New Haven woman, convicted felon charged with cheating Medicaid

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A New Haven woman is charged with cheating Medicaid.

Ethel Bethea, 56, was arrested Tuesday. Police say she billed Medicaid for services to people who were in jail or dead.

They say she also claimed she had no income and collected Medicaid for herself.

She was released on a $150,000 bond.

Bethea is already a convicted felon.
