New London man accused of selling crack out of inn

A 62-year-old man was arrested for allegedly selling drugs out of a New London inn on Tuesday.

Police say that just before 12:30 p.m., officers served a drug related search and seizure warrant at a room at the Millennium Inn, at 14 Colman Street.

During the investigation, officers found about 11.3 grams of crack cocaine, a cell phone, and $761 in cash. 

Charles Knight, who has been living in that room, was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
