Two juveniles arrested in connection to robbery, carjacking in North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Two juveniles have been taken into custody after an armed robbery incident in North Haven on Sunday.

North Haven police responded to a Mobile gas station on Washington Avenue around 2:45 p.m. after a woman reported her car was stolen by three men. According to police, the woman was approached while she was pumping gas by a group of three men in their late teens to early 20s.

The suspects were driving a mid 2010s Nissan Altima or Maxima.

Police said the suspect approached the woman with a gun and demanded her to give them her car.

North Haven police said the car was recovered in Fairfield after it failed to stop for Fairfield police. The suspects attempted to get on the highway and crashed into another car.

Two juveniles, ages 16 and 13, were taken into custody. They were charged with various charges including larceny.

The robbery and carjacking investigation is ongoing.
